Learning in Public
Here’s something I’ve been thinking about: why certain aesthetics catch on when they do. Why we all seem to crave the same color palette at once, or gravitate toward the same shapes, even when we think we’re being original.
Studies is where I unpack that. It’s not about being an expert — more about following a thread and seeing where it leads. Sometimes that thread is design, sometimes psychology, sometimes just a small human impulse hiding in plain sight.
I’ve come to like the idea of “learning in public.” It keeps things honest. No final answers, just an ongoing process of noticing, connecting, and maybe understanding a little more about why beauty matters as much as it does.
