Scenes from the In-Between

This morning, the light hit my kitchen counter in that quiet, cinematic way that makes you want to stop and look for a bit. I almost missed it.

That’s what Everyday Life is for — the in-between moments that usually go unrecorded. The small things that don’t shout for attention but hold it anyway. The way a day folds into itself, quietly doing its job of carrying you through.

I like noticing the patterns that build a day — how routine turns into ritual when you actually see it. There’s comfort in realizing that the ordinary is where most of life happens. You just have to look long enough for it to feel like something.
